Birch delivers one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios among hardwood plywood species — the preferred choice for demanding structural and decorative applications.
Birch raw plywood is manufactured from carefully selected birch veneers bonded with phenol-formaldehyde resin. The cross-oriented veneer structure with an odd number of plies ensures improved strength, stability, and resistance to deformation.
Each veneer layer is approximately 1.4 mm thick with grain direction arranged at right angles to adjacent layers. Exposed edges can be sealed with acrylic or epoxy coatings for enhanced moisture and chemical resistance.
Seven veneer grade combinations per EN 635-3 — from premium decorative B/BB surfaces to cost-effective structural C/C panels — ensure the right solution for every application.
Panels supplied in standard export pallets with moisture-resistant wrapping.
Custom cutting, special dimensions, and non-standard panel sizes available on request.
Worldwide shipping from Antwerp, Belgium — EU and non-EU markets.
