From our founding as a trading company in 2005, MaxPly has evolved into a global supplier with manufacturing capabilities, three European warehouses, and a presence across five continents.
Over two decades of plywood expertise
MaxPly began as a trading company, sourcing quality plywood from the Far East, the EU, and Russia. Our deep understanding of global markets and unwavering commitment to quality quickly established us as a trusted partner in the European plywood industry.
Over the years, we expanded from trading to manufacturing, investing in our own production facilities and developing proprietary products. Today, we supply customers across Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Australia — with a team that brings over two decades of hands-on experience in every aspect of the plywood business.
As a family-owned company, we make decisions with a long-term perspective. This independence allows us to build genuine partnerships with suppliers and customers alike, responding to market needs with the agility that larger corporate structures cannot match.
MaxPly is founded as a plywood trading company, sourcing quality panels from global markets and supplying European customers. A deep understanding of timber grades, logistics, and market dynamics sets the foundation for everything to come.
Rapid growth in supplier relationships across the Far East, Russia and the EU. MaxPly establishes itself as a reliable partner for importers and distributors, building the network of trusted mills that still underpins our supply chain today.
MaxPly makes the strategic decision to invest in its own manufacturing capabilities. A production facility is established, enabling the development of proprietary film faced and wire mesh plywood products engineered to meet the specific demands of the European construction market.
Two warehouses are established in Antwerp, Belgium — strategically positioned near Europe’s second-largest port. Combined with a facility in Bulgaria, this logistics network enables fast delivery across the continent and efficient container handling for intercontinental shipments.
The product portfolio expands to include commercial raw plywood in birch, poplar, and pine; a full line of film faced formwork panels; wire mesh anti-slip solutions; and specialty products including cut-to-size and fire retardant plywood. Each product line is developed with direct input from construction professionals.
MaxPly achieves FSC (FSC-C132123) and PEFC Chain of Custody certification, formalizing a long-standing commitment to responsible sourcing. CE marking is obtained across the product range, ensuring full compliance with European construction product regulations.
With customers across five continents and a product range that covers every major plywood application, MaxPly today combines the reach of a global supplier with the personal attention and fast decision-making that only a family-owned company can offer. Banking instruments for financing and deferred payment make doing business straightforward for partners worldwide.
No corporate layers. No committees. Decisions are made by people who have their name on the business — which means faster responses, greater accountability, and partnerships that are built to last decades, not quarters.
Over two decades of direct sourcing from mills across Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Australia have given us an unmatched understanding of timber quality, supply dynamics, and pricing. We share this knowledge openly with our customers to help them make better purchasing decisions.
With established banking instruments for financing and deferred payment, we help customers manage cash flow while ensuring suppliers are paid promptly. This financial infrastructure, rare among companies our size, enables us to handle large-volume orders with confidence.
